What They Said

Comments from delegates of our property development courses:

“Thank you so much for having me on the courses. They have made a massive help to my knowledge and I will be coming on the next Design and Planning one hopefully in February!” Sam Williams,  New Business Officer  (Development), Town & Country Housing on Understanding the Development Process and  Intermediate Development 1 – Acquisition.

“Just to say thank you very much for the training, you delivered the course really clearly & answered all my questions.  I have a low level of dyslexia which makes it difficult at times to follow training, but I found your course the easiest to digest, retain the info and follow.” Carla Clarke, New Homes Officer, Hightown HA on Understanding the Development Process

“Excellent course which dealt with the topic in a comprehensive and  relevant way. Lots of useful examples and case studies provided and this is going to be invaluable in helping me in negotiations at all levels.”  Kuldip Mann,  Regeneration Officer, London Borough of Ealing on Introduction to Negotiation

“Excellent course –  informative, interesting and inspiring. The topics were very well presented and all relevant, and the course material is a really useful reference tool.  It was also helpful to have the opportunity to discuss areas of particular relevance in greater depth.” Bernadette Kiernan, Project Co-ordinator, London Borough of Southwark on Intermediate Development 3 – Building Contracts, Construction & Beyond

“The MS Project training was extremely useful in providing an introduction to the software and its potential uses. The programme forces the PM to focus on the project tasks and sequencing to a greater extent than other programming software; this is beneficial in many respects but mainly as it clarifies the processes and the project’s priorities. A very useful tool.” Sally Corbin, Technical Manager, Thames Valley Housing on Gantt Charts Demystified – an introduction to MS Project.

“Thoroughly needed, well presented in a clear and relevant manner.  Confident and knowledgeable presenter, also able to manage participants’ expectations – and behaviours!” Leslie Clarke, Senior Development Manager, bpha on Project Financial Evaluation

“I really enjoyed the course and would recommend without hesitation. Being relatively new to development (8 months) I felt that the course provided an excellent general overview. There were terms and areas that I had limited knowledge of and the course has helped me understand these. There were also areas I had zero prior knowledge of and these were explained very well. The course has certainly helped me in my current role. I will be asking my employer if I can attend the more advanced development course.” Amy Hickman, Development Officer, Jephson Housing on Understanding the Development Process

“The course was extremely helpful. So far, I’ve had ideas of what’s supposed to happen but didn’t know the exact process. Now I know!” Polyhymnia Bradshaw, Graduate Trainee Project Manager, East Thames on Understanding the Development Process

“After the 2 day course I came to work totally motivated by Andrew; his energy and passion for this field of work is catching! I was engaged for the full 2 days and look forward to further HATC training.” Michaela Fullalove, Development Officer, Thames Valley Housing on Understanding the Development Process

“The course was very relevant to my role.  There is a lot of subject matter to fit in 2 days, and so there isn’t much time to go into detail on each subject, but the course has built my confidence when tackling the challenges of my development role.”  Chris Thompson, Development Officer, Thames Valley Housing on Understanding the Development Process

” I thoroughly enjoyed this course and just wish that I had gone on it sooner! I have recommended that we bring it into our Graduate Programme with new starters attending within the first few months of employment. I think it very effectively gives an introduction to key themes and demystifies a lot of industry-speak” Emma O’Reilly,  Development & Regeneration Project Manager Trainee, East Thames Group on Understanding the Development Process
