Overview
This course provides an overview of how affordable housing projects are funded, how Social Housing Grant and other commonly-used forms of public subsidy are obtained. It also covers How schemes are financially appraised.
Please note that this course does not address how affordable housing schemes are identified managed and delivered. These topics are covered in the Understanding the Development Process course.
Target Audience
This course is suitable for Development and Regeneration staff who are new to the discipline, staff from other teams within Registered Providers who are drafted into Development project teams, senior managers and Board members who wish to have a high-level understanding of funding and financial appraisals.
